Good evening all. Here we are two months after our wonderful reunion. Many wonderful memories and photos still coming thru. The reunion committee had their final meeting last week and went over the finances. After all expenses and pay-outs were paid, we are happy to let you know that we will be giving the Benoit Community Center a check for $7,034.99. There were also donations of $467 given specifically to be used for the OHS museum. OHS is still alive and strong. We hope that you all enjoyed the festivities and you will plan to come back to see the museum next time you are around the Benoit area. Remember, if you are having class reunions, we can have the room open for you. We will keep you updated as soon as we have specifics on what Benoit and our museum will be doing with the money. Now a very happy Thanksgiving to all of you. If you are out in the north woods hunting, be safe and good luck. Hope all of you will have time with family and friends this holiday season. Blessings to all, OHS Reunion Committee

Today we close the book on the "OHS 2017 All School Reunion." We don't have final numbers on how many attended, but as you can see, we had many in attendance. For those attending, we hope you made new memories while sharing old memories. For those unable to be there, we missed you. We saw a whole lot of hugging, which is always a sign of a successful event. ☺ A big "Thank You❤" to all the caring folks that planed, donated, worked at the tables, spoke, decorated, served us food, and attended. It couldn't have been done without a family of Aggies pitching in. Anyone that took photos, please feel free to share them here. May you all have safe travels home.

The All School Reunion Committee is aware of the proposed purchase of the Ondossagon School Building by Ashland Cares, Inc. Ashland Cares works with the homeless of the Ashland area. They have posted a donation page which is now in circulation. The Reunion Committee has very limited information regarding this enormous venture to reconstruct the Ondossagon School Building and has no opinion on the feasibility or success of this venture. This 2017 Reunion supports the continued future of the Benoit Community Center where the Ondossagon Room is located and all proceeds from the reunion, as initially planned, will be turned over to that facility.

A beautiful day in Wisconsin. Such beautiful blue skies. The ice has gone out on our lake and many different ducks have come to visit. Birds of all kinds and even a few turkeys walked across the lawn a couple of days ago. As the warmth returns, we are getting ready to send out registration forms in a few weeks. More info on that to come very soon. Here are a few more wonderful classes. Such smiling faces. Have a wonderful week. Enjoy the sun.

Good evening all, After our reunion meeting last night, I came home and started digging thru all the pictures from the 2010 reunion and found some more class pictures. I will post several every couple of days, so those of you who may have missed your year, hopefully it will appear in the next week or two. Sorry to have missed some of you. Hope you enjoy them. Great pictures of great people.

Happy Spring to everyone. Gorgeous sunshine and blue skies. Now as soon as the wind slows down, we should be having some beautiful days. We will be having another meeting tomorrow evening, March 22, for the reunion. It will be at 6:00 at the Barksdale Townhall. Food, decorations, Ondossagon Room, parade floats, Ondossagon apparel will all be discussed. It's going to be a fun time with fun people. Our class of '67 will be having their 50th year reunion that same weekend. Any other classes out there holding a reunion too? Enjoy the beautiful weather as we move thru Lent to Easter Sunday. Loving a different fish fry each week. A good evening all.

A happy March to all of you. Looks like the lion came in so we should be watching for the lamb as the end of the month rolls around. On the 12th we even get to start daylight saving time. Guess we can say winter may be coming to a close, but up here in Northern Wisconsin, we say that tongue in cheek. Say folks, are any of the individual classes planning to get together this Sept during the reunion time? Put some info out on FB if you are. If you want the Ondossagon room open for your class, let us know and we can get special times arranged for you. Here's hoping that everyone is staying healthy and warm. Blessings to you all on this Ash Wednesday.

Happy Valentine's Eve to all. As the hearts, candy, and flowers are flourishing, enjoy a few more pictures from our 2010 reunion. Well, we are having some beautiful weather here in Wisconsin. Around 48 degrees today. That is fantastic for us when we see the blizzard in the North East. Hope all of you are staying healthy and that the flu is staying away. Enjoy tomorrow.

Anyone interested in running a free throw contest? Let us know. Registration will again be online with Paypal. Some folks will be receiving forms by mail. Registration will be "hot of the press" mid May. Watch this page for more information as it happens. Good Evening all, Tonight we are moving along thru the '80's. Fun pictures. Well, we didn't get too much snow last night, but still enough to have to snowblow this am. We sure need more snow here. Snowmobilers are anxious to get out on those trails again and enjoy the winter. Well with January behind us now, we are finalizing our registration form for our reunion. I will let you know when they are ready to be sent out. Volunteer opportunities will be available. We need your help. Our next meeting is tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm in the basement of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at the corner of Chappel and Third St. West. Join us if you can.

Good evening folks, Well no sun shining today and some ice appeared, but it is still January in Wisconsin. I hope all of you have had a good week, even though we have to put away the Packer party goods until next year. Well, here's to next year. Just want to remind you all that we will be having our next reunion meeting Wednesday, Feb 1, at 6:00 pm in the basement of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at the corner of Chappel and Third St. West. We would love to have you join us. Stay warm and stay safe.

from Ondossagon Public School http://ift.tt/2cbyWud

Good evening all and welcome to our January thaw. Wow, all week we are to have temps in the 30's and some days the "high" 30's. Well enjoy the warmth while it lasts. You got to love Wisconsin. Oh, and how about those Packers! Waiting for Sunday's game. Also wanted to let everyone know that we are working on the reunion. Our next meeting will be Feb 1 at 6:00 pm in the basement of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at the corner of Chappel and Third St. West. Every committee still needs help and we would love to have you join us. We are working on the registration form, food ideas, and online ordering of clothing with the Ondossagon 100-year theme. All of this coming in the next month or two. So plan to join the group. Hope to see you on Feb 1st. The rest of you in September. Go Aggies, again.

Good evening all, Well, another Tuesday and another snow storm. Lots of wet stuff this time. Tomorrow is to be in the single digits. Good day to stay home and keep the fires going, but of course we won't. Another great win for the Packers this weekend, looking forward to next Sunday. Here are three more pictures to view. Are you in any of them? Have a great week, keep warm, and be careful on the roads.

Happy New Year everyone, Wow, 2017. This year is it guys, our reunion year. Hope that all of you enjoyed a New Year's Celebration. Those of us in Packer land enjoyed cheering them on to another win. And now most of the schools have started their next week of classes and college kids are getting ready to go back for semester 2. And our planning committee will start the serious work of getting this reunion moving forward. Hang in there folks, registration info will be out soon.
